On the heels of the humiliating revelation that Trump hung fake Time magazine covers in at least five of his golf clubs, the New Yorker took a shot at the embattled President with a “fake cover” of their own.

The magazine parodied Trump’s generous use of self-serving verbiage, writing “Trump is awesome!” and “So great!” in crayon. In Trump’s fake Time cover, he included headlines with effusive – albeit decidedly uncharacteristic for the magazine – praise, with phrases like “Trump is hitting on all fronts!” and “The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!”
Time has since taken action against the President by asking the Trump Organizations to remove the fake covers from their properties. Another iconic magazine, Sports Illustrated, also joined in on trolling the President with its own “customizable” cover.
While Trump’s insatiable ego continues to drive his every move, the President has become nothing short of a national laughing stock. Hopefully, there will come a time when Trump loves about the United States even half as much as he loves himself.
