President Trump is in Europe for the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, but decided to make a stop in Poland first for what should be a political layup speech in front of a friendly crowd of citizens of a close ally – but Trump couldn’t even do that without jamming his foot squarely in his mouth.

Trump used the press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda to once again go on a rant about CNN and the “fake news” media, even sparing a moment to talk about how successful the TV show he was fired from was.

“I think what CNN did was unfortunate for them, as you know now they have some pretty serious problems. NBC is equally as bad, despite the fact that I made them a fortune with ‘The Apprentice,’ but they forgot that. I will say that CNN has really taken it too seriously and I think they’ve hurt themselves very badly,. What we want to see is honest, beautiful, free — but honest — fair press.”

During Trump’s proper speech to the Polish people, he discovered that the Nazis and the Soviet Union had both invaded Poland at the same time in 1939 and said “That was tough.”

Poland suffered nearly a million casualties from the two invasions, including the mass slaughter of 120,000 people by the Russians and the deportation of another 350,000 or so Poles to the icy wastes of Siberia.

Thus began the domination of Poland by totalitarian regimes that would endure for decades – an era of hardship and suffering that Trump, who has never missed a meal in his life, dismisses as being “tough.”

Once again, the so-called President of the United States has humiliated us on the international stage.
