With all the negative news surrounding Trump, it was easy for most people to forget that Trump was caught up in a child rape scandal during his campaign. Then suddenly the day before Election Day, the victim canceled her press conference. Coincidence? Nope. He most likely pulled a Bill O’Reilly and paid her off.
Trump may have ducked that charge, but there is a new allegation implicating Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Resort. A former Mar-a-Lago employee named Virginia Giuffre worked there when she was only fifteen. During her time there, Trump’s buddy and known pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, lured her into his sex trafficking ring. At the time, Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, worked with Epstein to operate the ring.
Giuffre’s lawyer, Brad Edwards, stated, “We are trying to vindicate Virginia. What she said all along is she was recruited by Maxwell and abused by Epstein. That’s what this trial is going to be about and that’s what is going to be proven beyond any doubt. We’re looking forward to proving that.”
Of course, Trump’s team is denying any knowledge of such events. Trump Organization lawyer Alan Garten said, “He [Donald] had no relationship with Mr. Epstein and had no knowledge whatsoever of his conduct. This has all been reported countless times in the press.”
His lawyer’s statement directly contradicts a statement Trump made in 2002. Donald told New York magazine, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. He even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
