In recent weeks, Kellyanne Conway has appeared downtrodden, weak, and tired. It’s almost as if she is forcing herself to go through the motions of incessantly supporting the Trump administration’s lies during her bizarre TV appearances. She even joked about her own death during a recent appearance.
Conway brought with her a set of visual aid cards to use during her talk with Sean Hannity on Fox News. The topic of discussion was, of course, the Russia investigation. Conway claimed that she wanted help viewers “understand” her thoughts using the cards.
She held up the first card and said, “This is to help all the people at home. What’s the conclusion? Collusion? No, we don’t have that yet.”
“I see illusion and delusion. So just so we’re clear everyone, four words. Conclusion, collusion no. Illusion, delusion, yes,” Conway added.
Anyone with a brain can easily see through her charade. This is all just part of the Trump administration’s crisis management following The New York Times‘ series of bombshell reports proving Don Jr. colluded with the Russians.
The problem with Conway’s argument is the fact that there is concrete proof this time. Don Jr. posted his incriminating emails ahead of the Times – who also had the emails – to seem transparent. Sadly, simple-minded Americans will eat Conway’s “alternative facts” up like turkey on Thanksgiving.
